Father’s Day · Sunday 6 September

Missed the post? You haven’t missed Father’s Day.

Father’s Day sorted in three minutes. Send Dad a Bar Tab today and we hold it until Sunday morning, when it lands in his inbox with your message on it. He picks the cocktails he actually wants, and we express-ship his box next week. You can’t get it wrong, because you’re not the one choosing.

From $13910 bartender-made cocktails · cut-crystal tumbler · express delivery included
  • Nothing to post. It arrives by email on Sunday morning — not the second you pay.
  • He builds his own box. Whisky dad, gin dad, espresso-martini dad — his call.
  • Express delivery already paid for. Nothing added at his checkout.
  • Heavy cut-crystal tumbler in the box. His to keep, yours to blame.

Let’s be honest

“Don’t get me anything.”

He says it every year, and every year you ignore it and buy something anyway. Socks. A bottle of something he puts in the cupboard next to last year’s bottle. A gadget he takes out of the box once.

The problem was never that you don’t care. It’s that you’re guessing. Is he whisky this year or has he gone to gin? Does he like coffee in a drink? Would he actually drink a margarita, or is that a you thing?

So stop guessing. Hand him the menu and let him order.

The bit he’ll actually enjoy

Eleven cocktails. He picks every single one.

This is what opens when he taps the button — the whole range, sorted by the spirit each drink is built on, so he goes straight to the shelf he actually reaches for. Not a premix: real spirits, fresh citrus, measured by bartenders and sealed in a pouch he shakes and pours himself. Every one is a 130mL single serve, measured and sealed. Have a scroll. It’s the same list he’ll see.

Why he’ll rate it

These aren’t novelty drinks in a bag

Every cocktail is built on a spirit you’d recognise on a back bar, measured to the millilitre by people who make drinks for a living, then sealed so the only thing left to do is shake it.

Guaranteed to reach him

  • You get a backup copy. The code is on your gift card receipt, so you can forward it to him yourself in ten seconds.
  • Typo in his address? Reply to your order confirmation and we’ll resend it instantly to the right one.
  • No expiry rush. Australian gift cards are valid for at least three years. There’s no “use it or lose it”.
  • He’s not locked in. The tab works across the whole MXTOLOGY range, not just the Father’s Day packs.

Before you ask

The fine print, minus the fine print

What exactly does he get, and when?

An email on Sunday 6 September morning with “Happy Father’s Day” on it, your message under that, and a button that takes him to the range. He picks his cocktails, the code covers them at checkout, and the box is at his door next week — express delivery already paid for.

What’s the “send it to Dad” tick actually doing?

It tells Shopify to email the gift card to him instead of you, and to hold it until the date in the box below it. Leave that date on Sunday 6 September and nothing reaches him before that morning. If you untick it, the Bar Tab comes to your inbox straight after checkout — handy if you’d rather print it, put it in a card, or hand it over in person.

Can I still order this on Father’s Day itself?

Yes. Clear the delivery date and the tab sends the moment you check out — usually in his inbox within a couple of minutes. Ordering the night before is safer, but this thing does not need the post.

What if he wants more than the tab covers?

He picks whatever he likes and pays the difference at checkout. Go the other way and the balance just stays on his tab for next time.

Is there actually alcohol in these?

Yes — real spirits, between 8.7% and 16% ALC/VOL. Each pouch is a 130mL single serve. You must be 18 or over to buy, and so must he.

How does he actually make one?

Open the pouch, close it, shake it, pour it into the glass we sent him. That’s it. Shaking is what puts the foam on a sour and the crema on an espresso martini — no shaker, no ice-measuring, no cleanup.

What if he doesn’t see the email?

Tell him to check spam first. Then use your own copy — the Bar Tab code is in your order confirmation, so you can forward or read it out to him. Still stuck? Reply to that confirmation and we’ll sort it.

Put it on his tab.

He’ll forget the socks by Tuesday. He won’t forget the Sunday he got to order eleven bartender-made cocktails and have them turn up at his door.
