The official rules are simple, and they're enforced at the gate and in the concert area:
- BYO only โ the festival sells food and soft drinks, never alcohol. What you bring is what you've got for up to a week of camping.
- No glass, anywhere โ BYO alcohol must be in cans, casks or plastic. Glass found in the concert area is confiscated, and there's no glass recycling on site.
- Stock up before the Plains โ Broken Hill is the last real shopping stop, ~35km from Mundiville. Roll-in starts Monday 17 August.
- Nights are cold, days are dusty โ resealable drinks beat open cans against red dirt and flies, and an esky does double duty.
